My Story
Hi, I’m Abdul Bashith, and I’m thrilled to share my journey to IIIT Pune. This path has been filled with highs and lows, especially during the pivotal 12th-grade year. The pressure from school to excel academically was intense, and at times, it felt overwhelming. These expectations, while driving me to perform well in my board exams, also took a toll on my performance in competitive entrance tests, affecting my chances of securing a spot in prestigious institutes like IIT or NIT.
Despite these challenges, I managed to secure admission to RV Engineering College, a reputable institution. However, there was a part of me that believed I was capable of achieving even more. This belief, coupled with the unwavering support of my family, motivated me to aim higher. Recognizing that I needed additional guidance, I turned to NoMoreClass (NMC) for support, a decision that proved to be instrumental in my academic journey.
At NMC, I found an environment that was nurturing and focused on helping students reach their full potential. The faculty there understood the pressures students face and provided the personalized attention and innovative teaching methods needed to fuel my learning. They went beyond just academics, fostering a sense of resilience and determination in me. They helped me break down complex topics into manageable parts, creating a structured approach to tackle the competitive exams effectively.
With their support, I gradually recovered from the setbacks faced during my initial entrance test attempts. The tailored study plans, mock tests, and continuous feedback at NMC played a crucial role in rebuilding my confidence and enhancing my academic skills. I was encouraged to view challenges not as setbacks but as opportunities for growth and learning. This shift in perspective was transformative, reigniting my passion for computer science and strengthening my resolve to achieve my goals.
Ultimately, I chose to join IIIT Pune. It wasn’t just about overcoming past hurdles but about making a strategic decision that aligned with my aspirations. IIIT Pune’s advanced Computer Science program and its affordability compared to other IIITs made it the perfect fit for me. The institute is known for its focus on innovation and practical application, which resonated with my interest in leveraging technology to solve real-world problems.
Now, as I embark on this exciting phase at IIIT Pune, I couldn’t be happier with the path I’ve chosen. This journey has taught me invaluable lessons about perseverance, the power of supportive environments, and the importance of aligning academic choices with personal interests and goals. It reinforced the idea that with the right mindset and guidance, challenges can be transformed into stepping stones toward success.
Looking back, I am grateful for the role that NoMoreClass played in my journey. Their commitment to student success and holistic development equipped me with the skills and confidence needed to turn aspirations into reality. My family’s unwavering support provided the encouragement and strength required to keep pushing forward, even when the journey seemed daunting.
As I dive deeper into my studies at IIIT Pune, I am filled with optimism and eagerness to explore the myriad opportunities that lie ahead. I am prepared to embrace the challenges and adventures that come with pursuing a career in computer science, knowing that my experiences have prepared me well for what lies ahead.
