JEE Main 2024: Paper 1 Exam Pattern

Question Type: The paper includes Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), where you select the correct answer from the options provided. Additionally, there are Numerical Value-based Questions where you must input a precise numerical answer.

Total Questions: You will encounter a total of 90 questions, with 30 questions in each subject – Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

Marking Scheme: For MCQs, you gain 4 marks for a correct answer and lose 1 mark for each incorrect response. There is no negative marking for Numerical Value-based Questions.
